Berry Dump Cake

3 ingredients.

Yes yes, iust 3 ingredients and you will be smitten with this easy peasy dessert.

Frozen fruit, store-bought cake mix and melted butter. Getting my mascara on is more complicated than this, I kid you not.

And the results are crazy good. A cross between a cobbler and pie is what I would liken it to. I’m a sucker for any summer dessert with berries and ice cream, so this was right up my alley.

Apparently, you can switch out the berries for any frozen fruit as well as switching the cake mix flavors. The original recipe I adapted this from used frozen mangoes and yellow cake mix. Yum! I’m, for sure, trying that soon and have already made a mental note to do frozen apples with butter pecan cake mix. That has Autumn written all over it, am I right or what?

But no talk of Autumn here, it’s summer y’all! Even if you cheat and use frozen berries for this, I say your still supporting the farmers and that’s a cause I’m all for high-5ing!

As with this dessert:. High-5s all day when you can make dessert in under 5 minutes and have them wondering how you pulled it off……

Well, your secret’s safe with me. ;)

Enjoy…..
